Yorkshire Carnegie coach Tommy McGee admitted he was bitterly disappointed after his side produced a sub-standard performance in the loss to Doncaster.

McGee saw his side defeated 29-16 at Castle Park and afterwards he admitted the performance had come as a shock, he commented, "That performance does not represent what we are about at Yorkshire Carnegie, it was simply not good enough. All credit to Doncaster, they produced a performance and deserved the win. We have spoken after the game and the players know my feelings, we missed the enthusiasm of our teenagers today; Jack Walker, Paul Hill and Josh Bainbridge, and someone like Rob Vickerman."
